LODGE MEETINGS.
The Lily of the Valley Lodge, 1.0. G.T., held their weekly meeting last night in the Albany Street Oddfellows' Hall, Bro. Goodwin, C.T. presiding. Several communications from the grand secretary with reference to the forthcoming Grand Lodge session at Xew Plymouth were received and dealt with The reports of the various officers for the past term were adopted, after which Bro. Morrison, L.D., assisted by Bros. Carmichael and Little, installed the newly-chosen officers as follows; C.1., Bro. Beveridge; V.T., Sis. Johnston; P.C.T., Bro. Goodwin; marshal, Bro. Paterson; D.M., Sis. K. Curlinej chaplain. Sis. South ;’ F.S., Bro. R.-M'Kift-Jay ; treasurer, Sis. Brown ; secretary, Sie. A. Bowie; G., Bro. Gillam; pianist, Sis. M." Paterson. The vote of thanks to the retiring officers was responded ,to by Bro. Goodwin. Sis. A. Bowie was recommended as S.J-W. for a second term, and a committee consisting of Sisters South and Johnston, Bros. Paterson, Goodwin, and. Morrison was appointed to assist with the reopening of the Juvenile Lodge after the summer vacation. Bro. Paterson was recommended as electoral deputy and Bro. Morrison as lodge deputy. Tire vote to the visitors was responded to by Bro. Little (Southern Cross, Invercargill), Bro. Weston (Rescue), and Bio. parmichael (installing marshal).
