The Hon. C. E. Frazer, Commonwealth Postmaster-General, had a conference at Wellington yesterday with the Hon. E. H. Rhodes regarding wireless telegraphy and matters of common interest to y Australia and New Zealand. Mr Frazer left by the Main Trunk express for the north. He will include Rotorua in his itinerary. On dit that Mr George Ritchie succeeds his late father as general manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company. At the warehouse of Messrs Ross and Glendining, Ltd., Mr H. D. M'Hugh, who is leaving for Christchurch to take up a position with the firm's branch, was presented by the staff with a gold albert. Mr Stark made the presentation. Mr M'Hugh replied in suitable terms. Mr T. H. Kenny, on the occasion, of his resignation from the employ of Messri ■Wright, Stephenson, and Co., was the recipient of a travelling bag, suitably inscribed. Mr Kenny has been with the firm for five years, "and leaves with the good wishes of his fellow-workers for. future prosperity and happiness. A Bombay cablegram states that 'Sir George Sydenham Clarke's title will ba Lord Sydenham.
