LONDON, January 2/ (Received January 3, at 8 a.m.) The J Daily Telegraph ' states that Sir Percy Scott's ba/onetcy is regarded as confirmation of the report that the Admiralty has adopted his tire-director equipment for British battleships and. battie cruisers. This equipment will involve an outlay of at least- fialf a million sterling. Exhaustive trials- have proved that- an increased firing efficiency of 400 per centum may be expected te result from the adoption of the firo-direttor.
