In port at noon to-day ;—At Dunedin ; Wakanui, Niwaru, Storm, Ivotaro (steam), Triton (sail). At Port Chalmers : H.M.S. Cambrian, Waiwera, Maitai, Taviuni, Moura (steam). Mimosa (sail). An Auckland message says that the Kent, which arrived there to-day, brought 9 first class and 49 third class passengers. H.M.S. Cambrian arrived at Port Chalmers from Wellington this morning, and berthed at the George street pier, where she will remain until the 27th, when she sails for the Bluff, where she stays a day or two before proceeding to Hobart. Mamari, s.s,, which is bringing 525 passengers to this port from London, is due hero next week, and some people say—in view of her speediness—that she may possibly reach here on Monday. t Navua, s.s., from Wellington should reach Port Chalmers at midnight. She comes up to Dunedin in the morning. Mr Falconer, seamen’s missionary, was down at H.M.S. Cambrian this morning arranging for the bluejackets to be present at the usual Christmas gathering of seamen with which Mr Falconer has been so long associated. Taviuni, s.s., reached Port Chalmers this morning from Timaru and went on the lay-up berth for overhaul. THE MARAMA’S DEPARTURE DELAYED BY* YULETIDE DEVOTEES. AUCKLAND, December 21. The Manama was ready for departure for Vancouver at 5 a.m. to-day, and had a full complement of men up to that time. But two firemen and one trimmer put their belonging ashore and declined to proceed, being apparently determined to spend _ Christmas ashore. The Marama went into the stream, and the necessary men being obtained, from the Mokoia tb* former got away at 9.30 a.m. OVERSEA STEAMERS.
