Mrs R.ussdl Sage, the i . widow of the financier, will pay taxes! on £ooo,ooo, while Mr J. Kerpont i Morgan is assessed, at. £IIO,OOO. Other plutocrats axo taxed on equally low i bases, and the Vanderbilts, who own! 1 immense property here, are not taxed! on any personalty.
