HOSPITAL SATURDAY ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of the committee of the above association was held in the secretary's board room yesterday afternoonpresent—Messrs G. C. Israel (chairman), W. A. Moore, F. G. dimming, R. Martin, J. C. M'George, W. L Logie, J. E. Bone, Rev. V. King, Rev! W. Ashford, Mrs Edmond, Mrs M'George, Misses Hooper and Burt. The President reported that he had attended a meeting at St, Kilda, and that Mr M'Farlane had all arrangements well in hand. The Town Clerk wrote granting permission to take up a street collection on December (, and advising that collectors wearing badges would be permitted free rides on the cars. iho Forbury Park Trotting Club wrote stating they were donating £5 os towards the association's collection. Mr P. H. Martin, Clinton, wrote agreeing to organise the collection in that district, and suggesting the collection be taken up on December 12 this being the stock sale day.—Resolved to adopt this suggestion. The Caversham Band wrote offerinc their services, and it was decided to ask the band to play at St. Clair on (Saturday afternoon.
The St. Kilda Band wrote stating they intended playing a t the St, Kilda rotunda on Sunday, December 8, the proceeds to go in aid of the collection.—Secretary to acknowledge with thanks.

The supervisors for the various stands were appointed. V - me eting be held at the Hillside Workshops library early next week, of the South Dunedin collectors. •
The ladies in charge of the refreshments for collectors reported that the proprietors of the refreshment rooms had all kindly given donations' of refreshments.
It was .reported that a collection taken up at the show grounds yesterday afternoon by members of the St. John Ambulance Association, supervised by Mr W. T. M'Farlane, resulted in the sum of £7 4s 3d.
The Hospital proportion of the collection will this year be devoted to fianting the "white plague," and "the Medical Association are issuing a pamphlet containing all information regarding this disease and tho best means of fighting it, and these pamphlets will be sold by the collectors on and after to-day.
