(Received November 14, at 9 a.m.)Owing to the recent Ministerial statement that ‘ the amendments proposed by the Legislative Council in the Gas Bill are bot likely to be accepted, the Gas Companies Employees' Union again resolved to take a secret ballot on the question of striking for a shilling increase. The ballot, however, has been postponed pending the fate of the Bill.
