FIRST CHURCH BAZAAR.
A SUCCESSFUL START.
The bazaar which was. promoted by tho Ladies' Association of First Church, arid which was opened by the Rev. 6! H. Balfour yesterday afternoon, had a most successful start, good business being done in tho sale of goods, with which it is well supplied. The day's takings amounted to £2lO. A special attraction is a collection of wares from Florence, including pictures, silver filigree work, Italian jewellery, and copper and brass ware. The object of the promoters is to raise funds to liquidate a church debt. Their object should be achieved,.

A. feature of tho bazaar is the remarkable number of. interesting competitions. So far the results have been as..follow:—
