NICARAGUAN INFERNO.
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. WASHINGTON, October 4. The British, German, and other foreigners have appealed to the United States .Minister in Nicaragua to aid 500 refugees at Masaya. They allege that atrocities have been perpetrated. Seventy women are said to be imprisoned and ill-treated, and houses have been sacked. Chaotio conditions prevail generally. The Red Cross officials are doing what they can.
