THE FREE KINDERGARTENS.

It was also arranged that the conference meetings should °be held in the Girl Peace Scouts' club room, the mornings to be devoted to" business and visiting the schools, and in the afternoons papere in connection with kindergarten subjects would be read and discussed. The treasurer acknowledges with thanks the receipt of the following sums:—R. Wilson and Co., Mr John Wither, Mrs Glendining, £1 Is each: Dr Scott, Mrs Fels, £1 each; Mrs I. Garden, Dr Macdonald, Mrs Orboll. Mrs Shrimpton, Mrs Throp, Dr MacKellar, Mrs Rilev, Mrs Fulton, 10s 6d each; Miss Boye'-Snnth, 10s; Mrs C'hamptaloup, Mrs Carr, Air Bamett, Mre. Hill-Jack, Rev. Mr Cameron, Mr Jeifery, Mrs Frank Fitchett, 5s each ; Miss.Gunn, Mr Dempster, Mrs Todd, Mrs Peterson, 2s 6d each; smaller sums, 3s 4d.
