SALES OF WORK.
KEW PRIMITIVE METHODIST. A sale of work with the object of reducing the debt on the church manse was held in the Ke-w Primitive Methodist SundaySchool last evening. The amount of the debt at present is £470. The ladies of the congregation, by whom the affair was run, had all arrangements well in hand. The Rev. G. Knowles .Smith presided, and the attendance throughout was satisfactory. The following is a list of the stallholders:—Work stall: Mefdames King and 'turner. Cake stall: Mesdames Coatsworth and Robertson. Sweets stall: Misses E. Turner and A. M. Turner. Refreshment room : Mrs Mew and Misses Porter and Nelson. Shooting gallery: Mr T. Turner. A pianoforto solo was contributed bv Miss A. Nelson, and Mr L. Mew sang. Extremely good business was done during the early part of the evening, and it was anticipated that before the close of the sale fully £4O would be raised.
