[Ptu Dsited Puess Association.] WELLINGTON, August 28. Maori Hill Estate, Southland, has been purchased by the Government for closer settlement. ' it comprises _5.500 acres of good agricultural land. Negotiations are in progress for the purchase of three other estates.
