LIFE-SAVING SOCIETY.

1 The second annua! meeting of the Royal j Life-saving Society was held last evening, Mr W. Davidson presiding, j The annual report (already published) I was adopted. ! The balance-sheet of the. society showed ‘ a credit on the year’s working of £24 8s i sd, and a surplus of assets over Labilities j of £26 14s sd. !
