LATE CABLES.
ATLANTA (Georgia),Aug26. Colonel C. Wilson, formerly head of the United Wireless Company, died while serving a three years' sentence for using mails for fradulent purposes. MINNEAPOLIS, August 27. The Rev. G. iUoriil, in a sermon, denounced women's fashions in such a manner that his church has been crowded evei-y Sunday. He showed slides in an endeavor to prove that the immodest styles at present in vojjue were similar to the original skirt, which was a tig kaf in the Garden of Eden. The Minneapolis society women vigorously retorted to tho pastors strictures, in cnect telling nun that the. church wae not a place lor fashion lectures.
