The clerk of the West Taieri Land Drainage Board stated at yesterday's meeting that as a result of the passing of the Taieri Land and Drainage Act, 1910 (which dissolved the Taieri Drainage Board and constituted the present board), and of the interference of the then Government daring the Initial stages of the drainage scheme now being carried out; the West Taieri district had been involved in an additional expenditure of close on £2,000.
