After participating in a division in the Assembly, Mr Bowman, the Leader of the Opposition, was seized with sudden illness. He was removed to a private hospital in an unconscious condition, and is believed to have had a paralytic stroke. The Premier announced later that Mr Bowman was much better, and that there was no cause for alarm.
