DUNEDIN COURSING CLUB

The August meeting of the Dunedin Plumpton Coursing Club was held at Forbury Park this afternoon in fine weather. The plumpton was in good order, and a very fine lot of hares were liberated. The attendance was moderate. Mr E. H. Price acted .is slipper and Mr A. Cursey as judge. Both these gentlemen, together with the other officials, helped to contcibute to a good afternoon's sport. Results: MAIDEN STAKE. Winner, £SO and marble clock (presented by Mr C. H. Street) ; runner-up, £5; "two dogs at £2 10s each; and four dogs at £2 each^ —First P.ound. — Last Thought beat Greensward.
