PORT CHALMERS N-AVALS. Tho above eorp.s on Saturday fired tho final competition of a match for prizes. Conditions : Ton shots at 200. and 600 yds. This was al«o the final competition of the champion and handicap aggregates. Conditions : Champion aggregate—nine competitions, seven to count; handicap aggregate —nine competitions, eight to count. Added to that is a match of 10 shots at 600 yds, all firing from •scratch. The contest for the championship litis been keenly fought throughout tho eerie;?. Corporal Montgomery aj;d Gunner Kcenan evidently meant business when, starting at 200, each registered 47, but tho rain interfered considerably with tho shooting at 690 yds. Gunner Kcenan, who wine tho championship, hat-: 6hot most consistently during the season, never varying to any extant. Corporal Montgomery, who wins second place, made a- gamo %ht, but found the winner a rather doughty opponent. Q.M. Sergeant Facer gets third place.
