As one who takes a great interest in .yachting, 1 think you will find she was built in America. As to the builder, I fancy it was Crownshield, as I well remember she met with a severe accident to her stern in the launching. Perhaps it is the Germania you refer to. —l air., etc., Query. August 1. P.S. —The first Meteor was the old America Cup challenger Thistle. One of the other Meteors is now the Orion. - [We have not ’‘fallen in.” ‘Whitaker's Almanack’ for 1910 says: “Considerable interest was manifested in the performances of the German Emperor’s new schooner Meteor IV.
