Evidence was given showing that there were gifts of coal on the eve of the election to sixty-four recipients who were voters and to 136 relatives of voters. [The result of the election in December last was as follows : —Sir H. R. King (U.), 3.625: Dr R. W. Aske (L.), 3.418.] NO PRESENT'ARRANGEMENT POSSIBLE. LONDON, May 24.
