A CYCLIST KILLED
[Sh-ual to tot: Star.] INA'F.RCARGILL, May 1. Another motor tragedy has occurred in Invercargill, and tbo city is achieving jiotoritty in that regard. A taxi-motor cab, driven by a chauffeur named ChaHis, v;is returning from Walbcotown to In-viM-c-arjill vij the North road at eleven o'cl')ck~on Saturday night. Tho cab occupied the iniddlo of the Tend and was travelling at a fair speed. Travelling in the- fam<) direction, and on tho proper skJ© of the road, was a cycKsi naaaed Arthur Wm. Mitchell (thirty-eight years of age). A motor cyclist with, a bright light cam* in the opposite direction. Decoded was a draper's carter in poor circumstances, and loaves a widow and seven children.
