HARRIERS

Twenty members of the Pacific Harriers braved tho olcments on Saturday afternoon, and ran from the (Joorgo Street School. Notwithstanding tho heavy rain, a most enjoyable run was held, in company with flic Y.M.C.A. Harriers, who ■i :', ; railing from Queen street. Alter Ihe run the members enjoyed the hospitality of Mr and Mrs l'.ediord. to whom Captain Dawson returned thanks on behalf of the club. The Dunedin Anglican Club held their ope'-gng run on Saturday, beginning from Ihe residence of Mr A. Washer (prrekleiit of the clrtbl. Tiie trail was laid down Kaikorai Valley, across to loniser's Uully. over the hills, and home via the Koslyn Mills and along High street. Therunnus were entertained hospitably by their ho.-; and hostess, assisted by lady friends. The. Cavershani Harriers, twenty-three strong, did uoi mind the rain, and iwn from the D.A.B.C's shod, Anderson Buy, over a shoit. ttail laid by Deul'ord and Chambers. Tiie run was much enjoyed. Dunedin and St. Joseph Clubs held a combined run from Wakaii, there being thirt-exm members from Dunedin and ten from St.. Joseph's. I'. Homoiil and 11. M'Uiifgldin iDuucriin) and J. Iluglns I Si. Josephs' laid the trail toward Flagstall over'a long stretch oi cross countiy to the power station, and back home by D'-> road. V.
