IRISH HOME RULE

SPEECH BY MB REDMOND. IRELAND AND WALES. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, April 22. Speaking at Holyhead (Wales), Mr J. E. Redmond declared that the people of Ireland and AVales were one on great national issues. Wales might rely on the Irish party insisting upon Disestablishment being carried into law by the present Parliament. He looked forward to the day when the thorny educational question would be settled by agreement on national lines. Mr Ellis Griffith, M.P. for Anglesey, who presided, said that next session of Parliament would see Home Rulo and Disestablishment through the House of Commons. This would enable both the measures to come within tho purview of the Parliament (or Veto) Bill, and therefore to become law during the existence of the present Parliament. A JARRING NOTE. LONDON, April 23(Received April 24, at 8.17 a.m.) Speaking at Cork. Mr W. O'Brien said that even were the Veto Rill passed forthwith without alteration it would bo humanly impossible to carry any Home Rule Rill worth talking about in the present Parliament. No responsible frontbench statesman dare say it is possible to establish an Irish Parliament without another General Election.
