Our Cromwell correspondent advises that the weather is intensely hot. Rain is-badly needed in the district. Rev. D. 0. Bates wires:—Westerly moderate to strong winds; unsettled and cloudy weather at times; probably very cold night, and misty; glass little move•mentj; tides and sea moderate.
