Dr Harvey Sutton gave a lecture and an ! exhibition of boomerang-throwing in the en- 1 "meeting section oi the Ecicucc Congress in Sydney. Tho doctor explained the making of boomerangs, and then, with an i mores tod. somewhat anxious little crowd about him, ho practised what ho had been preaching. The lliuhts were most successful, considering the wind. The boomerangs managed to miss the Engineering School windows, tho hats of tho onlookers, and a cluster of admiring human atoms dot ted r.n a fence. “ Lnm'mc, Gin,r C r!” shrieked one atom to anoluer, shrinking so close to a third as almost to combine with it into a molecule—“ Dummo, he's nearly took the top oh that bloke 3 head! It would have been a pity if ho had, for tho “bloke” was tho president of the Congress, | Professor Masson.
