*Range prizes. —Wakari Rifles.— The Wakari llifles rpened their shooting season on Saturday by f'ring the first competition for the Mathews trophy, a silver cup, presented by Mrs Mathews. Conditions: Seven shots at 200, 500, and 600 yards. Highest scores;
—Danedia Naral*.— Tho Navals fired the fourth match of the first ssries; seven shots and two optional sighters at 300 and 500 yards. Highest scores:— A OJass.
