The principal business of the evening was the consideration of rite projiosed sick and funeral fund consolidation scheme, and P.ILP. Pro. Memlx'rs received with Imaily applause the announcement of the arraiigcments by the Dispensary Hoard with the Hospital Hoard for a number of beds for members of the friendly societies.

There was a good attendance of members at the quarterly meeting of the Hay Lodge on Tuesday evening. I’.D.G.P. Hro. Bryant was present, and by request gave a clear explanation of the proposed consolidation fund scheme, which was apjneeiated by those piesent, and in order to have a full discussion on this imporfaid matter it was cacided to devote an evening at a. later date, and to invite the memlius of the Committee who drew up the scheme to 1w present.
