ARNST ENTERTAINED.
Dick Arnst, champion sculler of the world was entertained at a social function at Chris-tchurch last night by a number of liis friends, and was presented with a leather suit-case with inscribed plate. Amst left to-day by the Ulimaroa - for Sydney, where he "will go into training for the big 'handicap to be rowed towards tho end of February.
He: "Let me kneel in (he dust at your feet, and tell you how much I adore you." She : " I beg your pardon, sir, bat there is iu> dust on our canmi*."
