9 A FORCE LANDED. Press Association — By Telegraph—Copyright. i LONDON, November 6. It is officially stated tiiat H.M. cruiser Proserpine landed sixty men in the Persian Gulf. Commander Marshall and Captain White were slightly wounded. This incident wtis not connected with the landing of men at Lingah, near Chathar, where was carried on by the Afghans. The Proserpine subsequently landed a larger force.
