About eight shareholders attended the annual meeting of the Bakery Flat Sluicing Company held yesterday. No fresh information "from that contained in tho annual roport (already published) was offered. The report was adopted. Tho retiring director (Mr \\ 7 . E. Hay ward) and the retiring auditors (Messrs Barr, Leury, and C 6.) were re-elected. Returns total ling 3,8130z lldwt22gr were reported to the Dunedin Stock Exchange last week. Of this total 1,0850z were sluicing returns, tho others being dredging. The Rising Sun heads the list with 2250z: following on this aro Koputai (1920z) and Golden Bed (1750z). RETURNS. Following aro the returns for October from the Consolidated Goldfields group of mines : The Progress Mines crushed 4,191 tons, yielding bullion to the value of £As&\ cyanided 2,780 tons, yielding £862; concentrates made a value of £7Ol, The Wealth of Nations mine crushed 1,950 tons, yielding bullion to the value of £2,701; cyanided 1,268 tons, yielding £829. The Blackwater mines crushed 3,604 tons, yielding £6,679; cyanided 1,767 tons, yielding £SBO.
