PLAGUED RATS

(Received November 4, at 9.5 a.m.) leading medical experts have initiated a strong movement in favor of the Government organising the universal destruction of rats in order to extirpate the plague germs. The outbreak in Suffolk is attributed to the manure shipped from London containing the sweepings of Argentine cattle ships, including the remains of rats and other animals. ' v , MORE INFECTED RATS. LONDON, November 3. (Received November 4, at 10.35 a.m.) Plague rats have been found in several vessels on the Thames. Stringent precautions are being taken.
