BERLIN, November 2. ‘The Timts’e’ correspondent ridicules tho suggestion of any delay in tho construction of German battleships through tho introduction of the 15.5 gun in the latest British ships. Tho only delay will be that arising from the shipyard strike in August and September. FRIENDLY INTEREST IN AUSTRIA. RECORD NAVAL ESTIMATES. BERLIN, November 2. (Received November 3, at 9.30 mm.) In order to follow the developments of Austria’s new Dreadnought fleet, Germany for the first lime h:is appointed a. naval attache at Vienna. Germany's 1911 Naval Estimates total £25,085,000, which is a record. The only item in which there is a decrease is the officers’ mess bill, which is cut down by £35,000.
