THE COURTS-TO-DAY
MAGISTRATE'S COURT, (Before 11. Y, Widdowson, Esq., S.M.) Judgment was given for tho plaintiffs (with costs) in the following undefended cases :—Emanuel Solomons (Mr Moore) v. Gcorgo P. Hanna (Wellington), claim, £2 16s, for goods supplied ; James Why to Watkins (Mr Bedford) v. James Ryan, claim, £1 4s Id, for goods supplied; Hayward and Garratt (Mr Ramsay) v. F. Hatch (Invercargill), claim, £6, for goods supplied (judgment for £5 lls Cd); John Edward Butler, Limited (Mr Seantlebury) v. James Todd (Timaru), claim, £l4 7s !)d, on a promissory note; Thomson, Bridger, and Co. (Mr Mooro) v. William J. Thomas (Invercargill), claim, £1 Gs 3d. for goods supplied; James Loudon (Mr Moore) v. John M‘Crorio, jun. (Abbotsford), claim, £7 Is 4d, for groceries supplied; Irwin and Irwin v. George Conn (Wanganui), claim, £ls Is 2d, for services rendered. P. M'Guire (Mr Ramsay) v. George Watt.—Claim, £1 ss, on a judgment summons. There was no appearance of the defendant, who was ordered to pay the amount duo, with costs, on tho 14th inst., in default three days’ imprisonment.
