The Olrig bad a short week’s ruq last week on account of the ladder having to be repaired. The ground was net quite so good for a day or two. We understand that the Morgan Diving and Suction Dredging Company have held two successful trial runs, the buoyapey of the pontoons being perfect. Last week, owing to heavy rains and floods in th»: river, progress was retarded. " Th.ere is no change to report in th» face, which continues very poor and drifty, ; and I do not expect to see apy change for another month,” reports the master of the* WAtkaiA dredge.
