A SINGULAR CASE. [Peb United Press Association.]
CHRISTCHURCH, November 1. An unusual case, the first of its land ever heard in New Zealand came before Mr Justice Cooper in the Divorce Court to-day. An application was made by William Jobson that a decree nisi granted him against Edith Lilian Johson for misconduct be made absolute. Die Solicitor General intervened for a reversal of toe decree nisi, on tho ground that the petiti<V°r bad since condoned his WII6S nilsconduct, as ho hail resumed cohabitation since the decree was granted. Collusion was not alleged. Thorn were three children by the marriage, but before the first was born the parties had agreed not bo live together. That agreement still existed. , , Tho Judge said it was a sad case, and lamentable that a woman should be under the domination of such a JP a, 2i , was tho most singular case in His Honor s experience in tha Divorce Court. Judgment was reserved till Friday.
