The late Sir Malcolm M’Eacliarn’s whole estate was valued at £421,320 gross, including realty valued at £163,211. The personal in the United Kingdom was £50,069, and in Australia £208,040. The net total in the United Kingdom was valued at £278,478. He -bequeathed his Australian property, with the income from residuary property in the United King dom, to his wife for her life; to be afterwards divided among his children. The sum of £5,0C0 was bequeathed to the Royal Caledonian School, and there are small legacies to the clerks in Messrs MTlwrajUi, M’Eacharn, and Co.’s various offices.
