A gang of forty Apaches, seeking to avenge the execution of their leader Liaheuf (the human porcupine), attacked eightpolice, stabbing three of them. Six of them were arrested.
M. Lepine, Chief of Police, has received many letters since Liabeuf was guillotined, threateniinr him with death.
