TO THE EDITOR Sir, —I am informed, from what I take to he a reliable source, that employees of the City Corporation act in the capacity of poll clerks at the various elections, and draw the same fee as is paid to outsiders, presumably in addition to their ordinary emolument as servants of the Corporation. Are the finances of the City Corporation in such a. healthy condition as to warrant this generosity! I —l a'm, etc., Inquisitive. March 16.
