The ‘Lone Hand’ (per Gordon and Clutch) for March is interesting alike for its literary and .iJlustrntrrw work. The articles include Dr Macmillan Brown's ‘ An Ancient City of the Titan* ’ and Mr Roosevelt'* ‘ African Game Trails,’ each being accompanied with munerous photographs. Oilier instractrr* and pleasant essays are ‘Tho Art of Opium Smuggling,’ ‘Aero* Australia by Camel Pad and Cattle Track,’ ‘ Colombo,’ and ‘ A New Australian Industry.’ Mr Adams’s exceptionally well told serial, ‘Galahad Jwnee,’ i* enneiudod, and stnries, verse, criticism, aid gossip help fill up a welcome number. ‘ How to Use the Fireless Gooksr or Hay-box, with Seme Recipes’ is the title of an eight-page publication that lias been sent ns.
