The dredging industry is being revived in this district, and on Wednesday afternoon a number of local residents assembled at Glenore to witness the launching of the ponloons for a dredge being built for Messrs Cameron and party. The pontoons are those of the late Golden Vein dredge, which, with ihe dredging machinery, have been removed from Beaumont, to Glenore. The pontoons have been lengthened, and the dimensions over all aro now 110 ft x 26ft. x 7ft, with an 80ft well and 88ft ladder. I'he dredge when completed will bo capable- of dredging to a depth of 45ft. Thero aro over forty acres of ground to work on.
