(Received December 27, at 10 a.m.) The death is announced of Miss Ellen Morrison, the sister of Mr Charles Morrison, who died last May. She inherited three millions from her brother's estate. Her malady was diagnosed as appendicitis, and on Monday night she spent ten hours with her lawyers making a will. The operation was performed on Tuesday, but she never rallied. To seventeen nephews and nieces she lias left sums varying from £5.000 to £IOO.OOO apiece, and "to a Miss Wilmot Champion £50,000. The estate will probably yield the Exchequer £600,000. The deceased had already paid a.' quarter of a million in duty when slie inherited the estate last May.
