TO davs .srmxG. [Special to the Star.] GORE, December 1. The Methodist Synod met in representative session this morning. The Rov. P. W. Fairclough presided, and extended a, cordial welcome to lav biethron. The following lay representatives were present : —l)imcdin Trinity. Messrs Rosevear. Stephens, and King; Central Mission, Messrs Paris and Young; Cargill Road. Messrs Shacklock and Aslin ; Mornington. Messrs Simon and Scott; Roslvn. Mr Clyde; Mosgicl, Mr Bolting; Port Chalmers. Messrs Yeoman and Sinclair: Oamaru. Mr Marshall; Milton. Mr llutcliings : Balclutha., Mr Guest; Roxburgh.-Mr Michelle ; Lawrence, Mr Williams; Inverc-argill. Mi\s>is M'Creath and Laws; Otautau. Air Keliow ; .Gore, Messrs Martin and Patersnn. It was decided that tin; debate on the separate conference for New Zealand lie taken at the evening session. It was also resolved that the sympathy of the Synod be extended to Mrs S. C.
