BOY SCOUTS.
The weekly parade of the Boy Scouts was held on Saturday last, there being a large increase on last week's parade. The Koslyn and Maori Hill Scouts, together with the South Drtnedin troop under Chief Scant Madras Dredge and Calder, held a parade, after which a route march was held through Mormngton. Camp was struck at the rear of the Woollen Mills, and tea -was partaken of, town being reached shortly after six o'clock. The Rosryn and Maori Hill Battalion are most fortunate in having received free of charge from Mt Master, of Ro&ryn, the uee of his hall for meetings; while Mj Reynolds, of Eoslyn, has giv>en a camera for competition among the boys. The North End Scouts, to tbe number of eigbtv, paraded under Chief Scoot Master Carr and Sooafc Masters Buehbridge and Cair, No. 1 troop afterwards going to Flagstaff and No. 2 troop to Mount Cargill. The North-east Valley troop, to the number of forty, under Chief Scout Master Arthur, held a successful pafad*. Next Saturday afternoon, it ia hoped to hafra a comDihed parade, after tthich the Scoute trill be instructed in field wjrk, etc, bv the Engineers, tffider Captain Roes,' who has made arrangenjentfi to have the bote shown the work at the Central Batterv.
