His Honor Mr Justice Williams sat at Wellington, on the Bth inst. to grant probates and de.il with Otago and Southland business.
Probates were granted in the estates of tho following deceased persons:— Eliza .Mary Waikira (Mr Hav), David Kilgour (Mr Grave), John Nordsjren (Mr Bedford), John Maxwell (Mr R. Stewart), Maria Wood (Mr Louguet), and Francis Lanttford (Mr Walsh). letters of administration were granted in tho estates of Phcebe I-ou-h (Mr Calhin) and John MLaren (Mr Stephens).

Tho statement of_ defence to bo "filed in Dunedin wuhtn tnree months after service. Trial to take place at Dunedin at the next sittings on the expiration of the above three months.
