The Barough Council resolved to protest to the Minister cf Justice against the action of «he Registrar of the Supreme Court at New Plymouth in handing over to tho Deputy Assignee at New Plymouth bankrupt estates which should have been administered at Stratford, and. request that inquiry be made into the matter, 6o that injustwe and expense to local creditors may be avoided. .GISBOBNE,. October 12. In connection, with the recent fires, the charges against tho lad O'Sulfivan. were proceeded with to-day. He was eomj pitted for trial in two cases, the othere I being -withdrawn.
