PARIS ARMY OF CRIME
M. Bonjean, Judge at the Civil Tribunal of the Department of Seine, and president of the Social Protection League, js authority for the statement that the League, numbering over 35,000 active members, hope scon to organise vigilance committees to ensure the further security of law-abiding citizens. The Committee of the League have published an appeal to all honest people, in which united action against the army of crime is called for. Details are given concerning the slight penalties inflicted for highway robbery, and pressure urged upon members of Parliament in order to have laws pasosd that will guarantee social preservation and public security, which are at present seriously menaced.
