HOPS DESTROYED
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, October 8. (Received October 9, at 9.15 a.m.) One of Lemay’s hop warehouses at Southwark was gutted by fire, and 5,000 pockets of hops were destroyed. The damage is estimated at £60,000. Three other of L'emay’s warehouses were untouched.
