PUBLIC HEALTH
At to-day's meeting of the University Council it was decided to adopt the following recommendation of the medical faculty: —“ That the teaching of Public Health and Bacteriology (practical and theoretical) be arranged, both subjects be severed from their connection with the present chairs of medical jurisprudence and pathology, and placed under a, new lecturer, who shall also act ns Government bacteriologist and Public Health officer.”
