LODGE MEETINGS.

The fortnightly meeting of the Jxn-.il Albion M.U., was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Rattray street, on Thuisdiy evening. A very lai\;re gatheiing of members and visiting brothers were present, N.G. Bro. A. E. Y. Smith presiding. The variolic officers haying given their reports on different matters, the election of delegates to the district meeting was pioceeded with, the following being elected:—G.M. Bro. Wright, N.G. Bro. A. E, Y. Smith, ]£.& Bro. A. ManshaJl, P.G. Bro. Keiuiedv, G. Bro. M'Neill. The N.G. them adjourned the lodge to enable the evening's programme to bo carried out, it being tile occasion of a fraternal visit from the Linda and Linden Lodges, 1.0.0. F. A very pleasant evening was spent iu songs, recitations, and various musical items, the pianoforte solos by Mr G. Jackson and bagpipe selections by Mr Morrison being nruch appreciated. Refreshments were supplied, and an adjournment was made to the lower ball, where dancing waa indulged in for a couple of hours, all present voting the evening to be one of th«( pleasantest spent in the Albion Lodge. The second toast of the evening was responded to bv the following brothers:— N.G. Bro. Brown (Loyal Valley), Warden Bro. Betts(Loval Oaversham), P.G. Bro. West (Dunedin)," N.G. Bio. Robert*, (Loyal Hand and Heart), ajid D.P.G.M. Bro. M'Dougall responded on behalf of tho Otago District. At the weekly meeting of the Hope of Caversham Lodge, 1.0. G.T., the C.T. (Sis. A. Hobson) presided. There were several visitors present, and during the evening Bros. Dalton and Hilton spoke on the good of the Order. The item for the evening , was "Sisters to answer questions written by the brothers." Several questions were read and answered, after which a programme of harmony was submitted. The visitors' vote was responded to hv Bro. Dalton (Pioneer), Bro. Helm (Rescue), Bro. Sandilands (Hope of Dunedin), and a broihe* from the-Alliance Lodge.
