AldTed, the printer of the 'lndian Sociologist,' was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment.

[On July 23, at the Central Criminal Court, before the Lord Chief Justice of England. Arthur Fletcher Horsley was sentenced to four mouths' imprisonment for unlawfully, maliciously, and seditiously printing and publishing in a certain periodical called the 'lndian Sociologist' a wicked, scandalous, and seditious libel concerning the Government of the King of and in the Indian Empire and the administration of the laws in force there. In another count he was charged with printing and publishing, and causing to be printed and, published, in the said periodical, a certain scandalous pnnted article., the same being calculated and intended to stir up and excite discontent and unrest among His Majesty's liege subjects. Aldred undertook to publish the 'Sociologist* for Krishnavarma after Horsley s sentence.]
